//WHO AM I?// I am a designer. I once thought that I needed to be able to put a word before that like 'fashion designer' or 'graphic designer' or come up with a single other word like animator or illustrator. Recently though, I've come to just enjoy knowing lots of little bits about very many things, and just being a designer. I find life is more exciting that way.

//WHAT'S NEW// Last summer I came across a hopeful looking ad calling for participants for a pilot project that challenged people to design a better Dublin. Back then I still thought I was a multimedia designer, but it seemed too good to resist so I applied on the off-chance I would be accepted. 9 months, 2 projects and a lot of learning later I'm still involved and working towards our next challenge. It's taken me into the world of design thinking where everyday is scarier and more exciting than the last. Sometimes it's still hard to explain all the bits this project encompasses in less than several hours, but I've tried to give an overview in my portfolio. Luke, one of the team, made this video which says it much better.
